Katelyn Tarver Monday Musings: Wicked, Parachute & 50's Themed Parties
Hey guys! Also, hello to the end of January! Crazy. Although, I don't know if any of you feel this way, but it seems like this month went by pretty slowly. Not in a bad way but… I'm not looking back on it thinking that it flew by. That thought doesn't really have a point but.. ya know.. yeah.. ok.

This past week was pretty chill for me. A highlight was getting to see 'Wicked' at the Pantages Theater in LA. It was my second time seeing it, and I loved it just as much as the first time! There's something about musical theater that is so magical to me. I always leave feeling so happy! Almost annoyingly happy. Like it takes me a few hours to stop doing my best impression of 'Defying Gravity' for those around me.

Eventually I came down off the theater high and a couple days later, saw my new friends Parachute play at the House of Blues. I met the lead singer, Will, while I was writing in Nashville at the beginning of the month. I thought their set was great! As was the whole night. Check them out if you haven't heard of them already!

Then on Saturday night, I went to a friend's 50's themed birthday party. I love themed parties SO much. She's one of the first friends I made out here in LA, so it was fun to celebrate her and her birthday and friends and the 1950's ;)
This week, I'm excited to be writing some new songs! And welcoming the month of February! Hope you all have an awesome week! :)
