Monday Musings: A Day Late « Read Less
Welp, there I go. Forgetting to write yesterday after I PROMISED I would. (See last week's post about how keeping up with projects I start is not a strongpoint of mine…) Oh well! I'm here today!
This past week was a good, low key one. My little sister finished her freshman year of college. I (finally) got the horn fixed in my car. My older brother turned 26. I wrote a song with a good friend of mine. I ate a lot of dessert. I went to KIIS FM's Wango Tango concert and danced my butt off the whole time. My top picks of the night were Foster the People, Maroon 5, B.O.B, and Wiz Khalifa. "So Good" by B.O.B is a favorite right now, so I was preeeeetty stoked to get to hear it live. It didn't disappoint. Love me some good pop music.
On Sunday I remembered and reflected on what a great mother I have and wished I could've given her a hug in person on Mother's Day. And finally, last night, went to my FIRST Dodgers game. After living in LA for three years, it was long overdue. I ate a Dodger dog and made it on the jumbo screen TWICE! Pretty successful first dodger game experience if you ask me. May just continues to fly by. I have some exciting things on the horizon that I will let you in on SOON. But right now, what my life mainly consists of is writing, writing, and more writing for my first album. This new John Mayer album I have streaming in the background right now is providing some good inspiration for me to do just that…
Hope you all have an extra good week!
