Happy Tuesday!

Monday came a lot quicker than I expected so ... this week, Monday is on Tuesday. I can't believe how quickly the months are running by.. it's already June 19! Anyone else feel like, stuck in March? 2012 is halfway over! What! Ok, I'll stop. 

One good thing about the weeks slipping by is that tour is getting closer and closer! I had a chance to play at Universal City Walk this past Friday with Parachute, and it was the perfect event to get me that much more excited to be going on the road with them this summer. The only thing we were missing was The Cab! 

But yeah, the show on Friday was a blast. There were so many people that came out to support! And even people that were singing some of MY songs. Which still doesn't feel real at all. I can't tell you how fun it is to look out on the crowd and see people mouthing the words to my songs. It's so encouraging to me. so THANK YOU to all who came and did that! So, so many thanks.

We also found the tiniest little kitty backstage! It was so freaking cute. We ended up naming it "city-kitty" and finding it a new home. It was soooo cuuuuute it hurt. 

All in all, it was my kind of Friday night. I love to perform. Especially love performing in LA. But also getting that much more pumped to be playing cities other than LA this summer... :)
